You are forgetting that after Israel won its statehood, it tried to be a peaceful entity in the middle east and give Palestine it’s autonomy. The Palestinians, instead of trying to live in peace, let terrorists run their land and have repeatedly attacked Israel. To that point, how could a Palestinian run for the government of Israel? I don’t think a Mexican-born person can become the president of the United States. It’s important to understand Israel tried to give the Palestinians their autonomy, and they weren’t happy with the terms. It’s tragic that there was a conflict in the area to begin with, but if the rulers of Palestine really cared about their population, they would do what’s best for their people… unlike using civilians as human shields. Free the people, stop the war.

Hey buddy, you're doing fine. Check out Tony Greenstein's exhaustively resesrched and comprehensive history of the origins and development of Zionism. As a scholar you should have a copy for reference. There is an interview with TG on Electronic Intefada that gives an excellent overview of his research. Truly the last hurrah of European nationalism, so-called racial science, and Anglo-Saxon settler colonialism. Its special relationship to fascist ideologies and governments up to and through the Jewish Holocaust, as detailed from original sources, has made the book virtually unpublishable.

@@Giantcrabz it has worked in America with the native Americans they have their own reservations. And by the way if they started attacking the American government they would be treated as hamas is being treated. The Palestinians are the losers and losers don't get to decide boundaries. In a way they are lucky that Israel has been as kind to them as they have been considering Hamas.

Well , culturally to the people of the Abrahamic faiths - ( and others Buddhists, Hindus , Sikh etc.) are harmed or marginalized when the word "gay" is used in a narrow "culturally colonizing progressive" context that implies / enforces a false equivalence upon Abrahamic peoples - ( and others Buddhists, Hindus , Sikh etc.) or false cultural equivalency between a Heterosexual intergenerational/ biological cultural reality, as defined by Abrahamic cultures - ( and others Buddhists, Hindus , Sikh etc.) and "gay' homoerotic cultures. It is an example of an informal fallacy in which the false equivalence between such two subjects based on flawed, contextually, limited, censored or false reasoning. This fallacy is categorized as a fallacy of inconsistency. Colloquially, a false equivalence is often called "comparing apples and oranges." The fact is most people on EARTH do not live in a country that supports such false cultural equivalence , or have fallen for the western "culturally colonizing progressive politics " as measured by the number of countries that have fully legalized gay marriage , a total of only twenty-four nations, of 195 . .worldpopulationreview.com/country-rankings/countries-where-gay-marriage-is-legal.....

I did not watch the entire video, but I it seems to me that you get one of the main points wrong. When you are talking about creativity and how Foucault would add to Chomsky view that creativity acts within boundaries you are actually refernecing Chomsky's point of view. There is even a video of his critique towards postmodernist/poststructuralist thinkers where he says that differences within a culture across time and within a culture at a certain time are something very uncontroversial to say. Everybody accepts that and I think that this is true. Only a very deluded person would deny that if you explain what you mean. But Chomsky's point is exactly that there are confines to these changes. And that is the point of the idea of universal grammar, that there ae rules within language which are applied to how you speak. And it would be exactly the opposite. Chomsky would rather argue, that Foucaults perspective makes even all the limits of human development culturally and historically variable. Furthermore there seems to me not much value in aruing that people can only regard themselves as a humans who are able to use language under a certain knowledge/power regime, when it is clear that animals might have some kind of language, and even plants have ways of communicating, but it is quite obvious that only humans have this kind of language, which allows them to build these complexe symbolical structures. What is the point? I must apply a Focult perspective on itself. What kind of power reveals itself in arguing about obvious empirical facts? What is the aim of this kind of argument Just because former societies had a different view, does not mean that present truth claims are invalidated. You could just call it scientific progress.

In "Visual Pleasure and Narrative Cinema" by Laura Mulvey, the essay delves into the concept of the "male gaze" in traditional Hollywood cinema. Mulvey argues that mainstream films often present the audience with a visual perspective that caters to a heterosexual male viewpoint, objectifying women on screen as passive objects of desire. The essay discusses how the camera's lens, controlled by the male gaze, positions viewers to identify with the male protagonist while visually consuming female characters as objects of pleasure. This dynamic reinforces gender stereotypes and power imbalances, perpetuating the dominance of the male perspective in cinematic storytelling. Mulvey also explores the idea of scopophilia, the pleasure derived from looking, and how it influences the cinematic experience by shaping viewer perceptions and reinforcing societal norms. Additionally, she touches on the concept of voyeurism and its role in the power dynamics depicted in films. Overall, Mulvey's work in "Visual Pleasure and Narrative Cinema" has been influential in feminist film theory, prompting audiences to critically analyze how gender, power, and desire are constructed and portrayed in visual narratives, particularly within the context of classical Hollywood cinema.

This incident is about ten years before The History of Sexuality which itself represented a considerable change in his thought, and before that LSD in Death Valley. Maybe the later Foucault would agree with you. As Deleuze pointed out, he was not one to repeat himself. Thanks and I agree with you about "postmodern." Also, like most thinkers if not all, F. was, as Cornel West might phrase it, a "cracked vessel." His thought remains unaffected on the plane of truth and reason in my opinion.

Your source - King of Jordan whose successor son killed tens of thousands of Palestinians in Jordan before the current Queen was born. Why? Because when Israel/Jews are not the unifying goal genocidal (along with Hitler’s supreme race goals) which is the precursor to the Islamic goal to take over the West - without those goals Arabs will do what they have been doing since before the Middle Ages - neighboring Arab tribes who continue to kill each other. Don’t you know their Quoran permits lying to infidels to achieve their goal? Liberals and the West are deluded by their values promoting the very thing they claim to object to. Palestine is a Roman NOT Arabic name! Go back than 100 years if you have the courage to get outside your bubble. Name the Palestinian kings and rulers 100 years before Yassir Arafat. Look at the Arch of Titus in Roman with Captured Israelites taking our Menorah and other Temple vessels over 2,000 years. Go check the records that Palestine was under Ottoman TURKS not Palestinian Empire. Jews were called Palestinians under the British Mandate when the Ottoman Empire ceased to exist by WW1. The Arabs hijacked the name in the 1960s because Israel’s THIRD commonwealth was restored after a 2,000 year exile in 1948. Palestinians are a fabricated tool of Iran and other Arab nations who could not defeat Israel in ‘48, ‘67, ‘72 and all the subsequent attacks until today. Dare you do some real research and challenge your distorted thinking?

Rashid Khalidis 100 years war on Palestine is a must read, and actually is very pertinent specifically to the section of this video about Arafat . One of the ways that Israel has undermined Palestinians is through their selection or destruction of the Palestinian leadership. Israel has dedicated vast amounts of resources to the destruction of the Palestinian intellectual class, through the assassination of poets , writers, journalists, intellectual and politicians' that they were concerned would be too beneficial to the Palestinian cause. Khalidi argues that one of the results of this has been a degradation of the quality of leadership available to the Palestinians, of course through no fault of their own or of even the leaders that made it out of the other side of this selection process, can't blame a fish for not getting caught. Downstream of this is the fact that Israel has the power to choose which group it wants to "negotiate" with inside of the Palestinian political class, and can subvert the Palestinian cause through the promise of power to groups they wish to bolster, as they did with the PLO in the 90s, in exchange for giving the PLO a sort of monopoly on violence and control in Palestine, the PLO became Israel's internal enforcement. Israel can choose to recognize or not recognize the authority of the PLO, the PNA, Hamas, and bestow powers upon them because in actuality, Israel is the sovereign of Palestine. It controls taxation and government funding in Palestine, it controls Palestine's water and air space, and even the internal movement of Palestinians in Palestine not just in war time but even when there aren't active military conflicts between Israel and Palestine. thPalestinians are subjects of a regime that denies that they are its subjects, This is the part that Zionist western leaders and Zionists want you to forget about and be blind to, they want you to only think about 10/7, but not to think about the region on the days that CNN isn't there.

This dude managed to prove he has no idea what he is talking about in 2 minutes 😂😂😂 and that is while speaking super slow 🤦 What Palestinian territory capture by Jews in 1947? In 1947 it was still one territory, yet undivided. The moment it got divided the Arabs (those who didn't join the Jews) started a war in an attempt to cleanse the area of Jews... When they failed, the other Arab countries tried to do the same... Jordan then annexed Jerusalem and the west bank, and Egypt annexed Gaza... The US taking in people is a very bad example, if you want to even think about it for a second, it makes no sense. The US actually did get mass waves of immigrants... When the immigrants are non Isis supprters, immigration might be a good idea for a nation (when you import doctors and factory workers and not fascist r@pists from failed states). I bet he never heard about the 1921 riots and the 1929 Hebron massacre (and I highly doubt the king of Jordan at the time mentioned it...) This dude can wear the full Kaffiyeh and everything... But still he has no clue... What an embarrassment... 6:47 here is my attempt at making it make sense to you: The land was Ottoman, when the Ottomans lost in WWI, that land was given to the League of Nations. Meaning the claim to the land was to the Brits at the time. The same way that when you bet your house in a gamble (every war is a gamble), if you lose, the house is no longer yours. The Brits could have expelled the local population and put Eskimos in their place for all they cared. And another fun fact: most Arab countries expelled the Jews in 1948 (where do you think they went?). Again, not their country, British mandate, and before that Ottoman (Turks). OMG, antisemitism is not a middle eastern phenomenon... They literally were Dhimmies... Farhud happened in Iraq in 1941... The idea of antisemitism differed from the European version because Jews couldn't even dream of a sovereign state while they were under the Caliphate. They could by law be prevented from riding a horse or holding a weapon (yes, not shooting someone, holding a weapon). The Palestinian Netanyahu mentioned wasn't just a Palestinian... It was Haj Amin Al Husseini... The Mufti of Jerusalem... His incitement to kill the Jews got many Jews killed before WWII... Quite a few years before meeting and befriending one Adolf... Israel has 20% Arabs in it. How are 20% going to win over 80%? Arabs and Jews lived there harmoniously together? 1920 riots, 1929 massacre, 1936 riots... And yes, he forgot about HUNDREDS OF YEARS OF DHIMMITUDE... I guess this dude actually thinks that Ashkenazi is named so because the Nazi at the end 😂 It is Ashkenazi, not Ashkenatzi... He forgot that most Jews were probably not expelled from Israel by the Romans (what would be the benefit for the Romans at the time? Just ask yourself, isn't it more probable that only the elites were expelled?) Is this a skit? Is it an SNL skit? This dude needs to watch some "pioneers of tommorow" in Arabic to start processing reality in a place he has no idea about...

The western colonizing attitude knows no bounds. We even want to colonize the worlds knowledge of colonization or what it means to be indigenous, all under the guise of resistance or some kind of post-colonial ideology. Will it ever end? The nausea and irony here is too much to take. I wonder if we are all better off resisting the hegemonic forces that bring us to consuming all these contradictory narratives. Might it make sense to slow down, maybe even shut off our devices, and turn to our neighbors with a curiosity to learn about their stories, values, and local culture, not with the intention to gain some kind of armchair knowledge, or to take some kind of ideological highground, but in an effort to be in community with our fellow people. Well, there goes my one comment a year lol. I'm tired. Thanks for your videos.
